Andy,

I too am interested in the SparQ. My current hard drive is about full and I also hear that the R2-32 version of Quotes Plus (I am not a beta) will scan much faster with two drives. At the moment I am planning on waiting for the SCSI version of the SparQ (1 Qtr 98 ??) since it is faster, and am hoping that they have a SCSI/Parallel adapter for maximum compatiblity between different computers down the road. Some interesting info/specs on these drives are on the Syquest thread. These posts seem to say that the SparQ is a tad slower than a hard drive, but I could live with that due to the added flexiblity of the removable/portable options.

Also Andy, I tend to be more of a lurker but I read every post on the Quotes+ thread (I still use Version 1)and particularly would like to thank you for keeping me informed of the progress of the beta test and for your great TA homepage. Thanks.

Donnie

PS. Do you think Version 1 could be configured to scan faster with 2 drives and any rumors on the release of Version 2 with date and price?
