A defense of some young Trumpers:
This post popped up from a SI search. It's by a well known bitter rage girl of the left on SI who is a teacher. Here she voices her contempt for her students who are known "Trumpies." She says they're ALL stupid losers See for yourself:
I have a few students for Trump- they're all, to a man, white, undereducated, and unmotivated. They won't be going to college- they're not smart enough, or they haven't worked at all in high school to acquire the skills they need, or both. They're loud, angry, and unable to put together coherent arguments. They're long on insults, and short on any knowledge of history, politics, or anything else- except cars- two of them know a lot about cars. Maybe they can be angry auto mechanics.
Yesterday they were all inflamed about Kaepernick., One of them told me, with a straight face, that Kaepernick isn't black "anyway". Now this is a little white kid so white you can't see his eyelashes. I asked him why he thought he could define Kaepernick's racial identity better than Kaepernick himself. No good answer for that. I also mentioned the fascinating history of the Star Spangled Banner (who doesn't love thinking about those polluting slaves' footsteps?).

Key is certainly an interesting character- as morally ambiguous as our country.
It's interesting being around young Trumpies. Their broad, unfocused anger can alight on anything.
Now I'm obviously not a Trump person and I don't like the cult around him. BUT these are KIDS! I guarantee ALL the kids in her classes approach politics the same they would a WWE match. That's natural.
A teacher with this much contempt for her students is very harmful. This person is one of the most intolerant and politically bigoted SI posters. There's no doubt she would leap at the chance to flunk someone to punish them for their wrong viewpoint. I wonder how many lives this witch has damaged. Putting a hardcore liberal in charge of young minds is not any better than putting a hardcore racist in the same position. |
