Jeff: Thanks for the holiday gift. I especially liked the .rein and .directories links. (The first to brush up on my technical German and the second for keeping abreast of the latest products for use in my systems design. Todd: Welcome back and thanks for the update on LUFK. Your favorable opinion after the tour of the plant makes me even more confident in the company. The only concern that I have right now is the steep drop in oil prices. Ref: nando.net. Back to SMTC: I noticed that you moved up your expectations for SMTC on your personal web page (it was #4, whereas now it is #2). You also believe it has the best appreciation potential for '98 in your list on Message 3070166. I recently made SMTC the largest holding in my portfolio. In light of this optimism, do you belive that the additional competition with the entry of IMP into the market will seriously impact SMTC? Are we being overly optimistic?
