The problem with Coumadin is it is so difficult to titrate the dose to get the blood thickness you want. My mother would have to deal with stuff like on Monday, Thursday, and Sunday take a half of tablet. On Tuesday and Wednesday take a whole tablet. On Saturday take a whole plus a half. And then get tested once a month and probably change the whole regimen. Is this not such a big issue with the new drugs?
