It took me two tries to get through Deadwood. The first time I tried, I was totally unimpressed with the first couple of episodes and stopped. The second time, I hung on longer, but still had a rough go of it early on.

The biggest problem was not being sure I could watch a show with a character I despised so badly. I just wanted the guy dead.

And then, he grew on me...which caused me great concern. :)

It's absolutely one of my favorites of all-time.
