I am not a fan of low grade like Cheechoo, or high grade like Pretium's Valley of Kings, "porphyry" gold as kreiging or some other geo statistical method is ultimately used to calculate what the grade might be, which is unknown until bricks are poured out the back end of a mill. Lots and lots and lots of drilling yet to be done to see if it somehow hangs together from a "geo statistical" view. Also, the work index looks like it could be high, requiring lots of fine grinding to liberate the fine gold.
For me, discrete, high grade zones are better places to speculate.......for example, I like the grades at WDO's Kiena "S" zone at Kiena, Val d'or: wesdome.com beauty of discrete high grade zones is they allow for, or "absorb" mistakes, "surprises", low gold prices, and quickly pay back capital. |
