Low velocity currency is a sure sign of a weak and fragile economy... a normal and healthy economy would have a velocity of around 12, say 10 to 14 or so... this is the velocity of the dollar... for a velocity to be so low tells us that no one is spending money... the economy is slow, not a good sign... I don't know how the FED could even think about raising rates with a velocity so low, it's beyond imagination... GZ
