To All,

Do you like a good Mystery? Fact or Fiction? You be the judge!

It's a story about how a wannabe Mr. NeoPath went a courtin' Princess Cytyc. It seems that Princess Cytyc was new on the social scene and everyone wanted to take her to the dance; some out of love, some out of greed, and some out of fear!

Princess Cytyc being a schrewd woman asked the intelligent Miss CompuCyte to room with her. Miss CompuCyte at the time was working on her doctoral thesis in Laser Scanning Cytometry. However, it was Miss CompuCyte's undergraduate work with microcomputer interfaces for microscopes that allowed for computer mapping of microscopic slides that gained her the nickname of Pathfinder. This is what Princess Cytyc was really after!

Mr. NeoPath realizing the importance of Pathfinder's work and feeling a little snubbed by Princess Cytyc decided to get even. With big bucks he lured Pathfinder away with covenants to assure that CompuCyte wouldn't talk to Princess Cytyc again. Mr. NeoPath, who can be ruthless at times, knew this would enhance his image while hurting the Princess.

Princess Cytyc, while being top notch at what she does, found it difficult to be cost efficient from her wheelchair. She really needed someone like Pathfinder to help her get around more efficiently! The question in the society page today is who will be taking Princess Cytyc to the dance next? There are reports that at least one contender has started grooming! Some say it could even be a match made in Heaven!

Stay tuned for the next episode of Mystery Theater 1998! Can two strong personalities come to terms for their mutual benefit? Will Mr. NeoPath receive his goodies or a lump of coal from the FDA Santa in January? Will Sir AutoCyte get to the dance before the Princess finds a date? Will Mrs. ChromaVision ever get a Web site worth visiting? Will Uncle Bayer's option on Mr. Matritech's research in automated Pap Smears based on nuclear matrix protein staining ever pay off?

How is your crystal ball? Any guess as to what 1998 holds?
