If they could get a handle on the fraud -- which they can't -- they apparently don't have a clue how rampant it is; and if they could make sure the benefits go only to the truly needy (eliminate the current 130% cap in favor of objective metrics) then I would be okay with a limited program. It would be far better if the federal government were out of it as they have no meaningful role.

I don't judge people based on where they work. I could name 100 people who worked for one of our stores for a buck fifty an hour and have made substantial accomplishments in their lives. Many, with no other education at all. While raising kids.
