On my ballot in Nov.

This is for Med Mary, currently legal. The same rules will apply if recreational (inspirational) use passes.

Somebody showed up at the Grange tonight to talk about the Heritage Initiative, which, it turns
out, was conceived in our very own building. He also said he's trying to change "recreational use" to "inspirational use".

Wharf Rat Ag; what's in your bag?

But, I digress. The whole point of this post was to be like Trump, and make it about Rat. Many people, and by that I mean the County Supervisors and my sharecropper, say that county permits for Med Mary will only go to people who applied before ?7/20. I'm not sure of the date, but it was like 2 days after the announcement. This has something to do with a lawsuit involving CEQA, our state environmental quality act. I believe the sewer (sic) wanted the supes to limit the number of permits, or he would do an environmental suit that would gum up the works, to the detriment of locals, and the benefit of our neighboring counties.

Anyway, the long and short of it is that yesterday I signed papers removing mice elf as the Incorporator of Wharf Rat Ag, a California non-profit corporation, but not before appointing mice the Board of Director and the officers of said corp. It has a very Steven Colbert SuperPac feel to it, for those who remember his shows. I think I have to get some more board members and officers.

This means that several people will be visiting. The first will be the sheriff, who will come out to what is officially, by county law, an illegal grow, to sign papers for a permit. Why illegal? Mendocino Co has a 25 plant limit, while neighboring counties allow 99, or, in Humboldt, a lot more.
However, permits will be issued based on what you are growing this year, and will be for 0-25, 26-50, and 51-99 plants, so you have to show you are currently breaking the law in order to get a permit to grow more than 25 plants. Right now, there are 48, but there will be 51 when the sheriff comes out, but only 48 again when the grower goes to the sheriff's office to buy $25 tags for each plant. It looks legal from the air, cuz each grow bag has 2 plants.

As I understand it, next year there will be 3 3000 sq ft greenhouses on my place.
