I see online ad revenues rivaling television ad revenues, particularly when the distinction between television and online multimedia programming fades away ... Yahoo! created the online advertising industry and will continue to fuel it's growth into new markets.

Peter, you forget that in the battle for advertising dollars, programming determines who wins. That programming costs ever increasing amounts of money. NBC offered Sienfeld $5mm per episode (and he's still quitting). As advertising revenue on the Web rises, bigger players with more money to control the programming will get the biggest pieces. Bluring the distinctions between media will just make it tougher and more expensive to compete.
