"Some Settings are Managed" error message

When you try to fix this, you'll get a ton of solutions that call for you to use the Group Policy Editor, or GPEdit.

Since the Group Policy Editor is NOT available with your Home version of Windows, you'll need to take another approach.

In most cases, the Group Policy Editor acts as little more than a convenient method of altering Registry values. Your challenge is to determine which Registry value is causing your difficulty.

I'd suggest using Search sites with both your Error Message and Windows Registry Keys in your query. With luck, you'll find something that will work.

Cheers, PW.
