This a DELL thread, but I have to respond to this.
IBM's disk drive business picking up ? This is what baffels me about that stock.
IBM's disk drive buis should be in the same position as every other disk drive maker. Have you looked at WDC lately. But no one seems to think that this is important. For IBM all Lou has to do is raise 3.5 billion in debt to buy back stock.

Don't companies generally sell stock to pay off long term debt ?

Oh wait I forgot IBM is in the great almighty computer industry. Nothing ever goes wrong with that industry or company.
