ish was a "plankowner" here at SI. He joined in '97. He contributed over 5,000 posts to this thread. Made over 400 to my medical thread. Here is his June 2nd post: They say the VA is slow. I have a liver problem, 2 Dr.s say it's a tumor and I need a MRI. 3rd one jumps in and says I need a kidney guy to okay the MRI. This was May 10. My appointment with the kidney guy is Aug. 4. How's that for ASAP?. His last post to me on that thread was on July 9th: Got sent to the hospital yesterday for a procedure. Hour's wait and found that that the Dr. doesn't do it.
