Yeah, right. If reality doesn't conform to your lies, attack the messenger... No, it wasn't his agent. Besides, the agent was no longer representing him, so why would there be anyone taking the blame? As has also been noted many, many times, there was no real reason for him to have ever read that bio. It was used to promote the services of that company. And what benefit was there to claim to be Kenyan born? Would someone look at that "Oh, they have a Kenyan contributor. That is just the company for us!!!"? I don't really see it.
