Sean, I hope you won't mind me bothering you again, but I'm having problems updating my MS files. I've downloaded the files ok, then I ran the data update, and I got a "Metastock error 247" for one of the directories. I proceeded, and it went ok for the rest. Then I ran metastock output for "update existing database" under the MS/data directory. Well, only 1/30 updated from 1/29-1/31 files I downloaded from QP (I downloaded all three as I'm not sure if getting only the latest will also update all previously missed days).
Well I tried the whole procedure over again 2X,and the same. I think the 247 is b\c I had an open chart in that particular directory, but when I deleted the incoming directory in QPdata, and tried again,no luck. I can't get 1/29 or 1/31 to update in any of the directories.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
