I've just been a looker before. FWIW finally bought some shares in backyard company SENEA. Last qtr. earnings had were brought down by charges taken. A reasonable PE without special charges YOY. The company more recently bought a Monsanto operation in Washington St. IMO where there is a chance for more operational efficiency to be had. IMO This company still needs much operational improvement. I think more food companies are benefiting from recent lower food input costs. I think this could help with margins going forward here. Trading at a discount to book value and the success of the B&G foods Green Giant acquisition from General Mills helps. The bad news, no dividend, leveraged debt & a erratic earnings history.
