Hi ski,

Ted Aguhab like the 78.6 retrace - it has been busted at 2128 today and he says if A=C 2095 - 2100 is next test.

Fast falling prices = big fear/put premium.

I'vs sold 17.50 puts on CLDT and 12.50 puts on WSR.

Two REIT's that pay monthly dividends in the 7 - 9 % yields - good stable REITs with lower than peer levels of debt/ebitda ratios CLDT high end longer stay lodging and WSR has older retail malls in high growth high income growth areas - Both seen in the Woodllands where I live when in Texas.

I say let the blood letting run into Friday, but alas it is option expiration and the next day can be the opposite of the last.

Ride the churn and sell the dip.

This week I have 3 put plays I was lucky enough to sell last February, OHI, CNNX, and CY all expiring at zero.

I should have bet the farm but I had a lot of HCP puts which extended me.

Bought to close 100 HCP puts in the 35 - 37.59 area and am sitting with purchasing power - very rare but it feels good to see the fast declines.I had hedged 1000 HCP with selling a call @ 37.50 ,then bought to close the short put. My hedge at 37.50 (naked call at that time) went up to 40.43 - sweatin bullets on that one. Today it is trading at sub 37.00 - back to reasonable.

Feeling relieved - pfeeuw

Getting excited about put selling into friday.

Bit at a time.

Perhaps already shot my wad - but if this gets really ugly - I'll get some nice stock or big premiums.
