What I disagree with you is on your statment that PII-300 is 50%~100% faster than P200+.

For practical reasons, I countered that your PII-300 could not faster than my M2-166Mhz to reload either Words97 or Excel97. As said, the full screens (of Word97 or Excel97) would pop up before the mouse clip sound gone. (K6-208 could be just as quick except that its sub window popup speed is noticeable slower than M2, but much faster than PMMX).

Coud you tell the speed difference from the overpriced PII-300 over my M2-166Mhz with your nake eyes?

If you could not tell the difference, how could you claim the better performance of PII?
