Happy Holidays! I think it is better that Gary Stroy is gone. It was obvious that Clint Severson is in control and Stroy was a lame duck. Abaxis is housecleaning---when I houseclean it always makes me feel refreshed, organized and ready to redirect if neccessary. The Frank Maquire situation is a little more difficult to read; perhaps because there is a personal element to it. It's pretty normal for people to precede family to a new destination and gradually decide it may not be in the best interests of all concerned to complete the move. On another note: I took a holiday in Southern Cal this past week and made it a point to visit a PetSmart and speak with Vet and technicians re the Vetscan. They were extremely pleased with the unit and wondered how they ever got along without it. It's the first time I ever saw the unit and reagent discs. The staff liked the ease of use, size, reports and customer service. BTW, maybe we haven't heard the end of Gary Stroy, the release stated he left to pursue a partnership in a venture capital firm so maybe there might be a future business relationship? Dan Byrne
