Powell is not squeaky clean by no means either..........he was overheard saying before he gave his famous speech to the UN prior to the Iraq invasion that the speech he was given to read was "bull shit", particularly the claim that Saddam had bio-trucks making biological weapons......he showed drawings of the trucks which had canvass sides. I personally knew that was bull shit because a bio-truck would have to be tightly contained to prevent spread of the bio-crap into the country side and his own soldiers. Saddam had said the trucks were being used to produce hydrogen for weather balloons which got a big guffaw from Cheney and Bush......But that's exactly what they were......in handling explosive gases you don't try and contain them in a small area, ie a truck where there are even more explosive.....the idea is that in case of a leak the hydrogen would dissipate into the ambient air and become harmless... Powell, being the good little soldier, kept his mouth shut and read the speech which will follow him forever.
