CWP, I applaud you for carefully reviewing the news release.
Here are my thoughts - I have no intention of going through each sentence with a fine tooth comb.

1. Focusing on the big picture, it is obvious that X-energy will be testing its reactor design.
2. If the first test is successful, they will in all probability want to conduct a 2nd (maybe even a 3rd) trial.
3. It appears that X-energy anticipates conducting a second test prior to the commencement of CCB mining the Miller deposit. Thus, they required assurance that CCB would be able to produce additional samples in a timely manner.
4. CCB will deliver a 12kg sample of ultra high purity graphite to X-energy. What X-energy does with that sample is up to them. They could use it all for their reactor test or maybe they use most of it for the reactor and the rest for verifying the physical properties of the graphite. You can bet there will be a quality control program if and when X-energy eventually goes into production.
5. This is a test of both the reactor design and the Miller graphite. It is entirely possible that the reactor test fails even though the graphite composition is perfect.
