The difference between the US and Chinese approaches is significant.
The US wants to be able to scale their plants so that the Pebble bed in a Nuclear Submarine is a scaled down unit thats on an AirCraft Carrier, which is a scaled down version of the one in your city, which is a scaled down version of the one that is too power an industrial wattage gobbler. etc etc etc.

The Chinese are running towards total Nuclear power so they can stop killing their rivers and streams and ground water.

Which is better? Does not really matter, in the end they will not melt down and they will power the grid unlike the treehuggers that see a solar panel on every tree.

So if you watch the video I posted on X energy, their intend is to provide a single unit of X megawatts. If you need 10X you buy 10 units etc.
