Colin Powell's Leaked Email About Clinton's 'Bimbos' Blows Up Twitter

Colin Powell expresses his opinions of people with all the aplomb one would expect from a retired Army general. His leaked emails reveal that the former secretary of State spreads his disdain around quite a bit.

He doesn't like Trump, but we knew that. It's this tweet about Dame van der Cankles and her, um, husband that is getting all of the attention, however (language warning if you haven't yet seen it):

As I write this post, that little gem has had Powell sitting atop Twitter's "Trending" list for a few hours now:

The fact that Powell notes that Hillary is a friend before being less-than-generous about her prompted Townhall.com's Kurt Schlichter to wonder how rough he is on those he doesn't like:

Although it's the "bimbos" tweet that is getting Powell all of his social media notoriety today, Ashe Schow points out at the Washington Examiner that there was a lot of juicy info in all of his leaked emails, and that Powell is a veritable "quote machine".

The big takeaway from all of this should be something I've felt for a long time: email is a horrible medium for conducting business.
