Chris,

Perhaps I can help.

1. You must download data from QP for each day. Only getting the latest day will not update all previously missed days. In fact, if you "skip" a day, you'll be asked to confirm the missing day. This is OK if it was a holiday, otherwise not: Make sure you download a file for each day.

2. If you have a Metastock chart open in a given MS/data directory, you will not be able to update MS data in that directory. I've found that even closing the chart and leaving Metastock appl. running can still cause me problems. Make sure Metastock is closed when running QP MS output or update.

3. You mentioned deleting the directory (I assume MS/data), and rerunning "update existing database". You'll want to use the MS Output routine to recreate the charts. If you create charts in an empty directory, I expect you'll find that your data is complete.
Otherwise, check in QP and see if the data is actually there (Does it show on your QP screen?)

Good luck,

Paul
