Mel, good job on the Wired rebuttal. Their whole act is to appear to be the hippest and most cynical PC pub. I picked up their mag once at a news stand, and after skimming for a few minutes, put it down. I don't know if they are the hippest, or even the most cynical, but they are definitely in the running for being the snottiest. What worries me more is that IOM's ad campaign and store displays seem geared to appeal to this "Wired" type of person.
