Notice how they are trying to shift the reality? AFAIK, no one claimed that Trump started the birther movement. Nor was he one of the earliest drivers of it, that would be Orly Taitz. Trump wasn't until later, after most of the action had died down. He more or less revived it after most leading Republicans had run away from the issue. And has been the most prominent advocate of it ever since.
