Citizens who are against "America First" Are in fact traitorous. They willfully undermine that which supports their very being. Like a Dog which bites the hand that feeds it. They are destined to far greater discomforts than they now endure.

Like a lot of terms, “America First,” has different meanings to different people. A first glance it could mean that we should negotiate better treaties and trade agreements with non-Americans. On the other hand, it could also mean that we negotiate trades deals which favor American corporations over the wellbeing of other nations, so that we protect American companies and their multinational subsidiaries from consumer-protection lawsuits. “America First” could also mean ending the NAFTA treaty which was signed by George HW Bush, Carlos Salinas and Brian Mulroney. Maybe this would force US companies to move their operations in Mexico and Canada back to the US, using the force of high tariffs and tax penalties if they refuse. Many Republicans say they are for free trade, but maybe the idea of America First could convince them that high tariffs can better protect American jobs.

I still remember when the US and Canada had an ongoing dispute over shakes and shingles.

We can only hope that ending NAFTA would not create this type of tit-for-tat reprisals once again, or a full-blown trade war with our neighbors.
.

There is another use of “America First” used by David Duke.
David Duke, Ex-KKK Leader Runs for Senate Under ‘America First’ Slogan

Just hours after Donald Trump formally accepted the Republican presidential nomination, former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke announced he is running for a U.S. Senate seat representing Louisiana under an “America First” campaign slogan. It’s a two-word phrase that Trump also used in his speech Thursday night at the Republican National Convention.

“I’m overjoyed to see Donald Trump and most Americans embrace most of the issues that I’ve championed for years,” Duke said in a YouTube video posted online Friday morning.

On Thursday night, Trump said “America first” twice during his 75-minute televised address in Cleveland. The candidate vowed to single-handedly save the country from illegal immigration and international terrorism by restoring “law and order.”

For the neo-Nazis and KKK, the term is used as a code word for anti-immigrant and anti-multicultural policies.

Additionaly, there is a alt-Right political organization called the “American First Party."

Some excerpts:
  • it is therefore time that we withdraw from NATO and permit Europe the task of defending itself.
  • The United States must withdraw from the United Nations immediately and require the UN headquarters to relocate out of the United States.
  • The United States must promptly withdraw from all international monetary and financial institutions such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank, WTO, NAFTA, GATT, etc.
  • the United States Congress will terminate immediately all programs of foreign aid, whether military or non-military, to any foreign government, or to any international organization, including the United Nations, the IMF, the World Bank, and other similar institutions.
  • The America First Party is totally opposed and unequivocally rejects the World Court because it violates and claims authority to overrule the United States Constitution.
  • While our party advocates the mass deportation of these lawbreakers, we recognize that much of this result can be achieved by encouraging illegal aliens to voluntarily depart.

Do any of these points seem familiar to you?
