I think NT 5.0 will contribute alot more than NT 4.0 simply because the installed base is so much larger today plus the fact that it will be a significant release in terms of the other stuff that will leverage the new technology such as the next releases of BackOffice and SQL Server. Where are you getting your data stating disappointing contribution from NT 4.0 compared to some predictions? I would like the link or the article stating this. I have never read that anywhere about NT. I just go by the trade rags and the quarterly reports from MSFT showing unreal growth from quarter to quarter on shipments of NT workstation and server. I can't believe anyone expects more rapid growth from a single product.
