Anthony, I've noticed (in person and on TV) LG signs plastered in conspicuous spots around the world including all over the bridge leading to the Kremlin and just outside of Glenview, hanging high on the hill overlooking Zenith's headquarters. It's hard to get a read on LG's intentions regarding Zenith. I've heard reports that LGE engineers in Seoul are bragging that they now know HDTV tech better than their Zenith counterparts back in Chicago. They don't mention, however, that their HDTV-tech base came straight from Zenith. Zenith offers LGE an excellent partnership example. So far, it's working, although, the efforts of the partnership have yet to bear financial fruit. The best assistance LGE could give Zenith right now is the agreement to elect a new CEO for Zenith who is given full independence and an opportunity to hugely, financially benefit based on performance of ZE.
