What makes you think that they can't postpone a federal election under extenuating circumstances, such as the sudden collapse of a candidate just before a general election? I remember when Rush brought this topic up. Not only would the Republicans fall all over themselves rushing to agree with obama for bringing it up, they would be first in line to derail Trump. Obama would make it a racial issue, and the RINO's would fade away like they have for the last 8 years to keep from appearing racist.
