1 - The data in that one post was about hurricane landfall. The US is more than 6 percent of the world's land area.

2 - Figures you would only reply to the least significant point of the post.

- It doesn't matter much what percentage of the Earth the US is, since data was presented for the whole Earth.

True the US data went back much further, still 45 years for the whole Earth, esp. when combined with data for the US over 60 to 240 years, should show something. Actually it does, but what it shows is a slight negative trend in hurricanes and typhoons across the world and in hurricanes and tornadoes in the US.
