Mr. Shoes, what you have there is a legacy office product which has been passed down through the ages and maintained and extended by several teams of developers. The particular lack of competence is of the glaring variety and it's manifest in the comments of the Corel management regarding their failed Java effort. It's the sort of incompetence that might not be obvious as they work on enhancing an existing, warmed-over DOS product. There is also managerial incompetence as evidenced by Corel's foray into OLAP and the NC wherein they are simply throwing money into the event horizon of a financial black hole. As far as the shareholders are concerned, their money is safely tucked away in Money Heaven -- a sort of write-only bank account, if you will.

BTW, I am emphatic.
