Rod, nah, WP 6.0 was a warmed-over DOS product. WP 6.1 is a still-stable, half-decent Windows 3.1 product, works fine on Windows 95. WP 7 and 8 are not just warmed-over versions of their precursors, they are entirely redesigned, and yet compatible with earlier versions. I am happy with WP 7 and use it. The product is a great achievement. The company unfortunately pisses away 10X the money it needs to. As you suggested, with sound management the software could have sold for even less, and then they probably wouldn't have had to stuff the sales channel and lie to investors. I sold my Corel shares at $8.95.
