PETA chickens out over Muslim sheep slaughter in Quebec - The Rebel 8 therebel

Marking Eid al-Adha with a celebration involving sacrificing lambs, revellers cut the throats of about one thousand sheep in a field near Drummondville then went on to “prepare” the meat using techniques such as burning the lamb’s head and legs with a torch, allegedly while the lambs were still alive.

Apparently, animal sacrifice is legal in Canada, albeit a tad unsettling to those who are fans of civilization.

Thinking about the lamb massacre, I wondered where the social justice warrior types from the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals were?

Inhumanely sacrificing livestock in 21st century Canada, yet PETA was AWOL.

And this has been going on in Quebec for years.

Instead of standing against animal cruelty in Quebec, PETA was on the warpath against a tiny Tasmanian town to change its name from Eggs and Bacon Bay to Apple and Cherry Bay.

PETA chickened out due to political correctness, going for low-hanging fruit with the name of a town but ignoring the silencing of the lambs since that involves crossing paths with Islam.
