>>>>>>and their intu/ckfr/aol partnerships are very important.

Yes it is interesting to note that Yahoo! is nearly all....at least to this point....nearly all banner advertising. Whereas Excite is close to 50/50, banner advertising/e-commerce. I like that mix much better...if Charlie is correct....I'll take explosive e-commerce revenues vs. page flipping any ole day. And intu/ckfr are writing the book, history book, on e-commerce IMHO. Not a bad partnership.

Did you notice Excite got the GTE yellow pages...becuase GTE was frozen out by Yahoo!.........and then who ended up with the unannounced as of yet, except for this forum, e-Bill business for GTE? One hand feeding another....if you know what I mean. These guys have a powerful relationship......and it's going to get alot stronger as the money flows and starts to stick to the sides.

This triad....trio....combination....is the only Network out there in net land that can provide the e-Merchant......Exposure(eyeballs).....and more importantly the ability to conduct e-Commerce with those eyeballs.

Why is it that none of the other Search/Sites 'can't' put up big e-Commerce numbers.......they don't have the damm technology IMHO.
