No, we haven't gone to this place. Williamsburg is a big Orthodox (Lukovich) Jewish area (with the black hats, garments and beards) and we try to stay away from those neighborhoods. Actually, we seldom go out to eat. My wife loves to cook and I enjoy her cooking. Plus, as a health food nut, I'm very picky in terms of what I eat. The only pasta I eat anymore is farfalla with spinach (garlic and oil) and rigatoni with broccoli. But I only have that at most once a week. There's a Japanese section in one of our local supermarkets so when I get the craving for sushi, I go there and order Tuna sushi with brown rice (I don't eat white rice.) .

Another factor is our friends who are basically very middle income and to make them feel at ease, we socialize at each others home. We eat dinner, crack a lot of jokes and talk about the nature of things. They really can't afford to go out to eat and we enjoy their company so we make no monetary demands. Moreover, it's a nice change of pace for me since most of our friends are not interested in stocks or the financial markets.

I have lived in NYC most of my life (outside of Tel Aviv) so I have experienced NYCs great restaurants. I enjoy my wife's cooking and health food much more than any restaurant these days. When we go away on weekends, we have to bring food with us, as eating out can be a big problem.
