Thank you Eslos,

You and Ted are articulate people hard to disagree with; but no matter how much I try I don’t see the usefulness of this rule.

It worked for 6. You might have decided to sell some before earnings and got same benefit.

4 has traded above the average but not above the highest target. Which one you follow?

Ted and T advocate due respect to analysts for their knowledge. Sure but how come they are still sell side analysts not buy side analysts. if they were consistently good more often than not, they would have been hired by big boys for big money.

No argument about portfolio protection rule.

Still use 8 weeks hold rule; not the 4 month hold for all newly bought stocks unless one of the sell rules intervenes?

Pull back from a price target sometimes is followed by prolong or permanent stalling or fall- sure but that can happen after pull back from any level.

Market downturn itself is a hint to cut back, sometimes it is more of a punch in the face than a hint. And this comes under Mr. C rule to remain bullish till there is reason not to be.

I am probably mixing up what you said with what Ted said.

If the valuation and targets were any good our method would be called best values. It is best trend.

Best Regards.

Your stocks are doing good today.
