Brian: According to the pundits in the industry, microsoft's purchase of hotmail is an attempt to lure people with free options and then pass them onto some paying/fee options which will generate additional revenue for Microsoft. I think this is an attempt by Microsoft to gain 9 million members who will form a captive audience for marketing shills from microsoft. As far as Eudora IMHO this product doesn't add a whole lot of value currently to QCOM. In any case Hotmail access is thru any web browser, so potentially Hotmail users are not using Eudora anyway.
