| Where I come from - we didn't do this when I was young, so this is actually a good sign. Junior high kids gathering to pray around the flagpole before school Sept. 28, 2016.

Everyone thinks of Chicago when they think of IL. But mostly it's a state full of small towns.
There are a few other cities, Peoria, Springfield, Rock Island, but mostly small towns. Agriculture is big. Those small towns are good places for small factories but the state is run by Chicago based Democrats and isn't business or industry friendly. It's been losing business for a long time, much of it going to neighboring states - MO, WI, IA, IN, KY. This town has lost a shoe factory, a truck trailer factory, and big bakery since I grew up there. A shame.
A big blue city is hell on it's red county countryside. Ask people in upstate NY or inland CA, or WA about that. People like these kids parents are considered ignorant yokels by the big city Democrats who run the state, at best. Bitter clingers, at worst. Those are the actual words a famous one used. |
