Politicians are only as crooked as the people who elect them. The perfect example is how many people like Trump who is one of the most crooked people ever to run for the presidency.

There are plenty of good honest people to elect, but the people time after time choose the bad person over the good person. My favorite example of that one is when Nixon won 49 of 50 states over George McGovern.

Had George McGovern been elected, I believe he would've been another Abraham Lincoln. And yet we totally rejected him for the sociopath Nixon whom Judge Sirica once said:" was incapable of telling the truth."
