koan: What gives a person the right to judge someone else's decision is that the whole point of democracy is people deciding how they want to be governed and by whom. It involves discussions and debate about what to do, not unlike a tribe might decide how to allocate its food, responsibilities, or elect a leader.

So judging each other's decisions is what makes a society work. In the case of this election, many people feel that if Donald Trump is elected, he will do great harm to our society. So those people are trying to convince others not to vote for Trump.

That is exactly how a democracy is supposed to function.
