I agree that adjusting to a neurotic society is a danger. In fact one of my 10 favorite quotes is by Eric Fromm who said:" the most neurotic person is s/he who adjusts successfully to a neurotic system." I believe he had Adolf Hitler in mind.

A few years ago Heinrich Himmler's granddaughter wrote a biography of her grandfather. She said her biggest disappointment was that she could find nobody in her family that stood up to Hitler.

While I agree completely about the lying, I have to push back a bit by saying there is a false equivalency here. The amount of time Trump lies compared to the amount of time Hillary lies are not equivalent. Trump lies much more than Hillary does and does it with more abandon.

One last thing to think about, is that we have a lot of delicate negotiations going on around the world and when Hillary comes in she will bring a seasoned group of professional diplomats and people well-educated in how to run a country. Trump has no understanding of social science or foreign policy and protocol.

Trump would bring in the neocons, the same people that got us into Iraq. Plus look at the people he has surrounding him. They are pretty rough bunch. But it is his temperament that is the most worrisome. How can anyone look at all the fights that he is started ,and why he started them, in the last year with virtually everyone and think that this is a safe guy to be in charge of the nuclear codes?

Both Trump and Clinton should have this quote from Mark Twain on their desks: "If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything."
