Hi Bob, This is something for thought; In Daniel chapter 5 the interpretation of the writing on the wall in verse 28 I find very interesting;
Peres (as in Shimon Peres) Your Kingdom is divided (with Yitzak Rabin) and given to the Medes (Iran) and Persians (Palestinians).
There are no real explanations for this verse so I think the book of Daniel to be one of the best Prophetic books in the Bible. More Jewish people are brought to the Lord from the indisputable timeline in chapter 9. It states that the temple will be destroyed and rebuilt and the Holy One will be cut off before the destruction of the 2nd Temple. I take them from those verses to Psalm 22 where it describes His death by crucifixion before there was crucifixion. These 2 sections of the Bible have brought thousands of Jews to the Lord. If you look at the October Newsletter from Maoz you will see some information on the Torah Codes. Many in Israel are saying this is fullfilment of Daniel 12:4 But you, Daniel, close up and seal the words of the scroll until the time OF THE END. I think the Torah Codes are interesting but would not consider it totally reliable.
Also, the last verse of Daniel is what I am referring to for Israel;
12:13 As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of days you will rise to receive your alloted inheritance.
