j,

Thanks. The last few days there's been a change in the tone of analysts and fund managers. They are now saying "except for China there's serious problems in Asia" but that they thought the situation would work itself out by year end with growth in the area exceeding US economy. All seem to agree that China is not hurt and will lead the growth. It appears monies are headed back into the region.

Deswell price held up well last few days all things considered. Trading was light the 3 days before Christmas, but fairly heavy the 3 before New Years as a lot of tax loss shares hit. There were buyers and the price held fairly firm. I had thought that few knew about it, but now think that it's not as hidden as we might think. If we get enough movement over the next few days for it to hit the 'big gainer' sheets, could spark even more interest. Will be profit taking, but I think it will return to former levels by early Feb.

I have twice shifted money to Schwab and bought more on Wed. Can now get back to even at 18/4.75. Feeling pretty good about it.

For what it's worth,
Ron
