Looks like Midland does not like what their seeing, with a new property aquisition. This is all I know on the property which I gathered from the releases.
Property is in Yugoslavia and exloring for "BORATE". The porperty already has proven reserves of 7 million tons and the market for a ton of Borate is aproximately 250$US and is very strong. There are only a handful of deposits for this mineral and this deposit has great potential of being a WORLD CLASS DEPOSIT. The property is currently being drilled and will continue in January. No other details right now, but will get back.

I know that Antares management is very conservative and would not take risks. Posibly what is going through their heads is as follows. They know that they are going to have proven resources of say 5 million ounces by the end of June, and the share price will be up. This company is in need of a J.V., the terms we do not know, and will let ANZ get in cheap. By the time money torubles set in within say 12 months, the stock will already be above 10$ and money will easily be raised. This gives the Co. the chance to divert its interests away from gold and into another metal whos market is very strong, and prospects look good for......

Any thoughts anyone, JAS?

Mike
