HARass is the British pronunciation, but of course that's no guarantee that it's the older one--we have so many odd archaic survivals in American English, many of them regional. Not so long ago I actually heard someone (younger than I) say: "I suspicioned he had a problem". I'd always imagined this was a usage that--if not entirely made up--hadn't actually been uttered in a century at least.
