Happy New Year. I have been in Ontario for 3 weeks now and not up on what news is around. What has prompted the takeover conversation?
I haven't seen any news releases but I am aware that there has been a major lay off at BYG and as far as I can determine Malcolm is no longer president.I see no reason why things shouldn't carry on. If the water problems are fixed at Mt Nansen there is no reason why production should not start up again this month. As far as ORI and AKA are concerned I do not believe there will be any adverse affect on either one of them. The agreement of last year has been met as far as the drill programmes and ownership positions. Both have good cash positions and could carry on without assistance from BYG as far as I am concerned. They have done very well on there own the past 20 years
with only management difficulties some years ago. Any new life to gold should be only good news to all these 3.
