Define "know". We do know for a fact that people associated with Russian intelligence agencies have been the source of some of the Wikileaks. Now they very well could be doing it for the lolz. I mean, many highly skilled individuals use their talents for stuff that has no financial benefit at all...

Especially if it is very illegal. Yeah, it could happen. I could also win the lottery. Or all of my molecules could vibrate up at the same time...

I would point out that when highly trained people target your server, you don't have much of a chance. People like the DNC usually, like me, rely on security by obscurity. Look at the State Department. They have very skilled people putting together their security. And look how often they get hacked.

So, we have the DNC being targeted by Russian Intelligence. Now I realize you don't think too deeply about such things, but ever wonder why? What kind of state secrets would the DNC have? What is there of interest?

Why not ponder that.
