"His companies have hired many many people. His businesses have employed or contracted lots of people. Not an argument there. But it is well documented how he has battled union scale, and even stiffed contractors. One I know worked for a company that supplied materials to build Trump Taj Mahal in ACNJ. Trump didn’t pay the bills, went around them to the material maker and then didn’t pay the company. the company failed under the loss, ( since they could not carry it in following years).

Presidents don’t make jobs, unless WPA type ones, but they do back policies that encourage growth or not. And trickle down economics failed. It makes sense on paper, but in practice, money is squirreled away in off shore accounts, hedge funds, and trusts, leading to a hugely imbalanced distribution. Fix the loopholes the rich paid for with their Citizens United campaign contributions"
